Reality Checks

Everyone has had the chance to cringe as someone sings and has negative talent but acts like a diva.  I know two people in special education programs, with IQs of 85 or less who are convinced of their own genius.  Since I wrote this essay I had the chance to watch hopeful competitors on the show American Idol.  Everyone has seen people convinced of their own talent on that show who just could not sing.
