I must confess that there is a lot of Dobson's writing that I am not
fond of. This book is excellent. I am glad it is the first thing of
his that I read or I might not have given it a thought.

Eadie, Bettie Embraced by the Light, (Gold Leaf Press 1992). I was
not fond of this book, but many people love it.

Elgin, Suzette The Last Word on The Gentle Art of Verbal Self Defense, (Prentice
Hall 1989). Elgin's books have been life savers for many people.
[More Elgin Books] Elgin lost her son and her first
husband.

Westberg, Granger Good Grief (Fortress Press 1971), Elegant, in 64
pages.

When Good-Bye Is Forever: Learning to Live Again After the Loss of a
Child, John Bramblett (Ballantine/Inspirational, New York 1991) -- the
best of the journal type books I have read. Recommended.
