This year we were all set to write a wonderful healing and happy letter.  We've had such positive thoughts ever since the pregnancy started.

This was the year that Win graduated.  The year we had baby Robin.  The year that we finally resolved so much and moved on into the future.

Well.

Robin had heart problems and died on August 31, 1997 after doing very well in surgery and after everyone thought she was going to be ok.

There is lots of news, some which would be important or wonderful, but it all seems empty.  Sent out the Christmas cards without any letters in them (and it is a miracle that the cards went out at all).

Maybe next year ...
