Dear Mr. Marsh,

As a recent graduate of a joint-degree program from Albany Law and Union University, I was shocked at the material in your letter concerning law students. It is so pertinent, it's frightening. I graduated Albany Law top 1/3rd, and achieved a 3.90 in my Masters. And I can't buy a job. I agree with everything you wrote concerning the prospects of most law students but (christ!) shouldn't my dual degree count for something? I have quantitative and qualitative skills galore, but no one cares because (stupidly) I chose to enter law school directly from college. Thus, I have "no experience" {repeat 1000+ times for full-effect...}

So, before I tell my creditors to *&*^%! off, and end my life, do you have any other sage advice for a young loser (err lawyer) who has 85K in debts and no job to show for it?

P.S. I've been "hunting" for a year and a half. The rejection letters are piling up, and I'm mighty pissed. And, to further rub salt in my wounds, I know college grads who have bagged 65K/yr jobs because they have CS degrees - the "hot" field now. Joy. And I have my doctorate, and it's worth Jack *&*&!.
