I have put out several parts of my web page project to sub-contractors, with mixed results.  This is the current project I am putting out for bid.

My service provider, zoneit.com, has a very seamless method for opening a new account.  You fill out a form and zoneit.com bills your credit card and sends you your password, etc.

I liked that.

I want to offer sub-domain accounts (name.adrr.com) and sub-directory accounts (at adrr.com/mediator/name/) to mediators.  What I hope to do is to have the person fill out a form that sends a work order to zoneit.com for the work and that allows their credit card to be billed directly (so that zoneit.com can bill them directly for the work instead of billing me).

For the sub-domain accounts, all I am asking is that it be set up so that the monthly fee be paid by the person with the account instead of me.  For the sub-directory accounts, I was hoping for a one time nominal fee to be charged that would go to my account at zoneit.com (against future charges for my hosting service).

You will note that I am not looking for repeat fees from anyone.

I had two ways I thought I could accomplish this.

One, I pay a designer a fixed fee to set this up with zoneit.com and I get my money back, more or less, over time by charging $10.00 a sub-directory account (in addition to zoneit.com's set up charge for the account).  On the fixed fee I was hoping that I could pay someone about $200.00 (I was thinking 3-4 hours, with a modest surcharge for a small project).

Two, the designer gets paid a small increment every time someone uses the forms they designed (i.e. there is a "set-up" fee for sub-domains that goes to the designer and an extra part to the fixed fee that goes to the designer).  In this case, I would get nothing on each transaction or a very nominal amount (like $2.50 surcharged that goes to my zoneit.com account to help defray my costs).

I'm never looking for cash back to me (if the improble happens and I get a huge number of accounts, then all I want is credit extended towards the future).  I'm not trying to make money on this, I'm trying to create a community with the incentive of low entry fee and a painless, easy method to sign up.

I wanted a designer to work with zoneit.com, set the forms up, and handle the transactions so that I could stay out of it. My gut level feeling was that zoneit.com would work better with a web design professional than they would with me. Such a person could communicate better what I wanted, set it up more smoothly, and have the necesarry ability to work through the details.

In any case, the designer (if they wanted) would also get a button on my "http://adrr.com/join.htm and /join1.htm and /join2.htm pages as well as being added to the design services provider list that I keep on my pages (if they aren't already on the list).  Which may or may not be a benefit.

Any suggestions, etc. are welcome.
