HOW DO I GET ON THE VENDORS LIST?

Send a written request on your letter head which outlines the supplies or services you propose to sell to Dallas County: Frank Yabarbo, Purchasing Agent at the address above.

WHAT IS A SEALED BID?

A formal written request for supplies, services or equipment with an estimated purchase price of $15,000.00 or over. State Law requires sealed bids to be advertised.

In the Purchasing Department, 509 Main Street, (Records Bldg.) 6th floor, Room 623.

WHO WILL SEE MY PRICES?

All bids are public knowledge the moment they are opened except for Insurance or High Tech bids. In addition, copies of bid tabulations are kept on file in a Bid Book in the Reception Area for public viewing.

MAY I SUBMIT A LATE BID?

Dallas County does not accept late bids. Bids must reach the Purchasing Department no later than the advertised acceptance time. The clock in the Purchasing Department is considered the official time.
